Position Overview:

We seek a dedicated and empathetic Female or Male Disability Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal care and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. In this role, you will be crucial in delivering high-quality support and care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while fostering a positive and respectful environment.

Easy iCare is looking for:

Female & Male Disability Support Worker with a reliable car and license

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to participants with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.

  • Understand and provide appropriate care to participants who demonstrate a wide range of challenging behaviours.

  • Assisting with daily activities, community support, self-care, and empowerment

  • Work in conjunction with the participant's care team when appropriate.

  • Professional approach with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Knowledgeable with disabilities.

  • First Aid & CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (Preferred)
  • Driver Licence (Preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Preferred)
  • CFA Certificate (Preferred)
  • Infection and Prevention Control Certificate (Preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Preferred)
