We're looking for our newest team member with drive, passion, and commitment to getting the job done. Located in Hallam, our family operated business of 30+ years is looking for an enthusiastic & hardworking Fleet Controller. Proven track record of previous experience as a fleet controller is a must.

To be successful, the applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the same job setting
  • Eagerness and enthusiasm

  • Excellent time management
  • Desire to succeed
  • Team player
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good Word and Excel knowledge
  • Well presented
  • Container allocation experience is a bonus

Duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Ensure deliveries are done as efficiently as possible within the parameters set by our customers.
  • Ensure a quality service is provided to our customers by our fleet at all times.
  • Control a fleet 30+ vehicles in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure all legislative requirements are followed.
  • Liaising with customers and reporting ETAs
  • Liaising with internal and external customers and contractors to ensure an efficient and effective service
  • Using our portal and applications
  • Allocating containers

What we offer the successful candidate is ongoing training and mentoring and competitive remuneration. You will need to have excellent communication skills, enjoy a 'hands-on' approach to your work but most importantly have the right attitude.
