We're looking for our newest team member with drive, passion, and commitment to getting the job done. Located in Hallam, our family operated business of 30+ years is looking for an enthusiastic & hardworking Fleet Controller. Proven track record of previous experience as a fleet controller is a must.
To be successful, the applicant will need to possess the following skills:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the same job setting
- Eagerness and enthusiasm
- Be able to work under pressure
- Excellent time management
- Desire to succeed
- Team player
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good Word and Excel knowledge
- Well presented
- Container allocation experience is a bonus
Duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Ensure deliveries are done as efficiently as possible within the parameters set by our customers.
- Ensure a quality service is provided to our customers by our fleet at all times.
- Control a fleet 30+ vehicles in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensure all legislative requirements are followed.
- Liaising with customers and reporting ETAs
- Liaising with internal and external customers and contractors to ensure an efficient and effective service
- Using our portal and applications
- Allocating containers
