Position Overview: Warehouse Operation Officer

The Warehouse Operation Officer plays a key role in managing the daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of goods. This includes overseeing inbound and outbound activities, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting the coordination between departments to ensure seamless warehouse functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Perform regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with system data.
  • Monitor stock levels and promptly report any shortages or excesses.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for quantity and quality; update records accordingly.
  • Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are accurately documented.
  • Oversee and support warehouse staff and laborers in their daily activities.
  • Prepare and verify outgoing shipments for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations related to storage and handling.
  • Keep detailed records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, dispatches, and returns.
  • Generate and submit operational reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Report any damages, discrepancies, or incidents to the warehouse manager in a timely manner.

Skills Required:

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc)
  • Forklift Licence (Prefered, but not mandatory)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
