Domremy College is seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced teacher of Italian for a part time position for

The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.

This part-time (0.80FTE), temporary role is scheduled to commence on Tuesday 27, January 2026. We welcome applications from recent graduates.

As a member of Domremy College, the role requires a commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Presentation tradition. In line with the College's Learning Framework, it is expected that the successful applicant will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring young women to love learning, excel in their subject area and promote personal excellence.

As a Teacher of Italian, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

  • create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Italian
  • utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

  • a tertiary qualification in Education
  • eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
