The Cleaner plays an important role in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment at our recreation centre. Responsibilities include cleaning all areas of the facility, such as gym spaces, change rooms, toilets, café, and communal areas, following cleaning schedules and health and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to ensuring members and visitors enjoy a clean and comfortable space every time they visit.

Key Responsibilities

· Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.

· Use floor scrubber to clean floor

· Cleaning windows and mirrors

· Toilet cleaning

· Clean gym equipment

· General cleaning tasks

· Clean areas as directed by management

· Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

· Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects

· Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

· Make adjustments and minor repairs

· Stock and maintain supply rooms

· Cooperate with the rest of the staff

· Follow all health and safety regulations

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $31.00 – $35.00 per hour
