Reporting into the Interlock Service & Installation Manager, the new Auto Electric Technician ("AET") will be based at our Notting Hill workshop in Victoria. The AET is to play a key role in the handling of Draeger Interlock devices and serving customers.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Installation of Draeger Interlock devices into vehicles;
• Demonstrate and train participants on the correct use of Draeger Interlock devices - Interlock Alcohol Program );
• Conduct periodic servicing and repair of the devices;
• Provide excellent, personalised customer and technical service;
• Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
• Always ensure a safety-first approach.

The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes:

• A genuine passion in the field of auto electrics;
• Comfortable and willing to provide a great customer experience;
• Hands-on, technical aptitude and ability to handle electronic devices;
• Intermediate computer operation capability required for basic data downloads and processing;
• Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment;
• Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards;
• Excellent customer focus, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal, communication, organisational, and task management skills, and;
• Can-do, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

A Police Check will be required for this position.
