Granvino Harvesting is seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding our client base within the Hunter Valley, NSW region. As a key member of our Sales team, you will play a crucial part in the overall strategic direction and success of the company.
About Us
Granvino Harvesting is a growing grape harvesting business based in the Hunter Valley. We operate one of the cleanest and most efficient mechanical harvesters in the region, with a focus on quality service, timely operations, and local grower relationships. As we prepare for the upcoming 2025/26 harvest season, we're looking for a driven, locally connected individual to help secure seasonal work.
The Role
We're hiring a Contract Business Development Manager to chase and secure harvesting contracts across the Hunter Valley. This is a part-time, flexible position. Ideal for someone already in the industry or with existing relationships in viticulture or ag services in the region. You'll be the face of Granvino during the lead-up and throughout harvest, focusing on driving new work and maintaining grower relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and approach vineyard owners/managers

Promote our harvesting service and machine quality

Secure harvesting metres and log commitments

Liaise weekly with the owner/operator on pipeline and scheduling

Represent the business professionally across the region
What We're Looking For

Strong knowledge of the Hunter Valley wine/ag industry

Existing grower contacts

Confident communicator, self-starter, results-driven

Comfortable with flexible hours and working independently

Available from mid-June through to the end of harvest (approx. March 2026)
Pay & Perks
-
$40–$50/hour (based on experience)

Fuel reimbursed $0.85/km vehicle allowance

Commission bonuses for harvesting metres secured

Approx. 15–20 hours per week, flexible scheduling
Contract runs for 39 weeks (June–March)
