The Senior Pharmacist co-ordinates and supervises the day-to-day activities of the WACHS-SW Pharmacy Department Bunbury Hospital dispensary services. This position provides expert knowledge and leadership in respect to operational management of pharmacy dispensary services and controlled drug management. The Senior Pharmacist contributes to optimum patient care by undertaking duties as a Pharmacist, within the framework of services provided by the Pharmacy Department including providing effective and efficient services to patients and clinicians which meets the relevant ethical, legal and professional standards.Area Profile:The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area.
