Electrical / Control Systems Engineer
to join our growing team.

We work across manufacturing, agriculture, and renewables, delivering projects that combine
electrical design, control systems engineering, and industrial automation
.

This is a hands-on design and engineering role — from
concept through commissioning
— for an engineer with a strong background in
electrical systems
and
automation controls
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce electrical designs, schematics, and wiring diagrams in
    CAD  / EPLAN
    .
  • Develop
    control system designs
    including PLC I/O allocation, safety circuits, and panel layouts.
  • Prepare
    cable schedules, termination diagrams, and equipment specifications
    .
  • Ensure designs meet
    Australian Standards (AS3000, AS4024, etc.)
    and site requirements.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and project teams to integrate systems effectively.
  • Provide technical support during panel build, installation, and commissioning.
  • Assist with procurement, supplier coordination, and site documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in
    electrical design and control systems engineering
    .
  • Proficient in
    CAD
    platforms (EPLAN experience a bonus).
  • Solid knowledge of
    PLC control systems
    and safety circuits.
  • Familiarity with
    AS/NZS electrical standards
    and industrial safety requirements.
  • Strong documentation and specification writing skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in
    manufacturing, food & beverage, agriculture, or renewables
    .
  • Experience with
    SCADA/MES systems
    (Ignition, Sepasoft, etc.).
  • Knowledge of industrial networks and protocols (
    Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus
    ).
  • Electrical trade background or site commissioning experience.
