Childcare Chef | Brand new Centre | Sunbury

Little Stars Early Learning and Kindergarten Sunbury is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and experience Chef to plan & prepared nutritionally balanced meals & Snacks for all children at our Service.

Along with a breakfast bar for our busy on the go parents to grab and go.

Centre overview:

Little Stars Early Learning and Kindergarten Sunbury is a brand new purpose built centre currently 6 months opened with operational hours from 6.30am - 6.30pm.

With a working week of x 5 days a week hours 8am - 4 pm.

We are a 122 placed centre and passionate in building strong community connections, communication and consideration. Guided by an experience Centre Manager, our staff will be supported with on going development and opportunities for growth.

About the role:

Must have sound knowledge about the kitchen and allergens.

  • Hold Food Safety supervisor certificate
  • Do Food Safely certificate
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing healthy, nutritious meals for the children
  • Successful in menu planning with a variety of meals.
  • Current first aid, Anaphylaxis and first aid certificate
  • Current WWCC
  • building connections with all children, staff and families
  • lead and mentor other kitchen staff
  • preparing foot to meet special dietary requirements
