About the role

As a Draftsperson, you will be producing and managing our technical drawings to ensure the accurate and efficient installation of our Pergolas, Verandahs, and Decking products.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Pre-costing and GP costing (materials, labour, extras).
  • Creating plans for council (AutoCAD) and optional 3D client plans (SketchUp).
  • Communicate with Sales department for design changes or scope issues.
  • Prepare payment schedules, estimate council/insurance costs, and recommend commission adjustments.
  • Manage customer files, council applications, and supplier communication.
  • Assist production managers with budgeting, policies, and installation schedules.
  • Organise site inspections, handle invoices, COGS, and order insurances/consumables.
  • Assist with site inspections and design troubleshooting.

About you

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in technical drafting
  • Possess the ability to produce precise Auto CAD scaled drawings (essential)
  • Knowledge of VIC residential code (essential)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
  • Great time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
