We are recruiting for a Company Secretary for a reputable organisation in Darwin

Contract:
1-year contract

Salary:
$120K – $130K PA + salary packaging benefits

Your new company

We're seeking a skilled and proactive Company Secretary to support high-level governance functions and ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements. This strategic role is central to maintaining strong corporate governance and facilitating effective Board operations.

Your new role

• Coordinating meetings and preparing agendas
• Minute-taking and document management
• Maintaining accurate records and overseeing statutory filings
• Lodging reports and notifications with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC)
• Advising on governance matters and promoting ethical practices

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in corporate governance and board support
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including ACNC and the Corporations Act
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Experience working with senior executives and board members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to ethical practice
• Tertiary qualifications in law, business, governance, or a related field (desirable)
