BioGiene is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner at KGF Lance Creek VIC (Meat Processing Factory).

The Cleaning Hygiene Operator is directly responsible for the following:

  • Cleaning a meat processing factory
  • Factory is located in Lance Creek, VIC 3995
  • Afternoon Shift 6pm - 2pm
  • Expected start date 14/01/26
  • Looking for 20 new starters
  • Paid under the "Cleaning Services Award" MA000022
  • Full-time, lvl 1 ($33.61 ph)
  • Night shift
  • This position will be ongoing
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English are essential.
  • Must be able to read and understand workplace instructions, safety signs and health and safety training materials (all in English)
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing may be required
  • Working in a team of roughly 30 people
  • Q Fever Vaccination required (The business will arrange this if successful)
  • Required to complete online application & inductions prior to starting
  • Adequate training provided at site
  • Delivering a clean area daily both visually and micro biologically.
  • Following site safety, H&S requirements and report any hazards.
  • Restrocking of consumables i.e., toilet paper, soap, hand towels etc & PPE
  • Emptying bins & maintaining general cleanliness
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
  • Following correct chemical applications and usage.
  • Following cleaning procedures and report any problems.

Physical requirements

  • Standing for the entirety of the shift hours)
  • Frequently and repetitively squat and extend arms
  • Frequently and repetitively bend, crouch, twist and kneel

  • Hot and cold conditions
  • Steamy environment
  • Working at heights
  • Working in confined spaces
  • Use of chemicals
  • Wet and slippery surfaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.61 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
