About the role

Say and Play Speech Pathology Services' is seeking an experienced and talented Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team on a contract basis. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech therapy services to our clients in the Merrylands, NSW area (and surrounding suburbs). What you'll be doing

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' communication needs
  2. Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based, treatment plans to help clients achieve their communication goals
  3. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each client
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as educators and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to client care
  5. Maintain detailed client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

What we're looking for

  1. A certified degree in Speech Pathology
  2. Registered with Speech Pathology Australia, CPSP status
  3. Demonstrated experience providing speech and language therapy services to a diverse range of clients
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  5. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each client
  6. Commitment to staying current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
