About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at Results Accounting Pty Ltd in Bella Vista, NSW. This is a part-time role, offering flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments. As a key member of our accounting firm, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality financial services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients

  • Preparing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

  • Completing tax returns and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations

  • Providing bookkeeping services, such as invoicing, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable

  • Advising clients on financial matters and strategies to improve their business performance

  • Collaborating with the broader accounting team to deliver exceptional client service

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting/bookkeeping role

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial software (e.g., XERO, MYOB, QuickBooks)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial records

  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
