The Garli Group is a young and diverse Aboriginal business centered around the provision of civil construction disciplines, workplace medicals, environmental services, marine industry support and providing civil works for the mining industry. We have offices located in Perth, Brisbane & South Hedland.
With the continued growth of our business, we are currently seeking a Proposals Coordinator to join our Business Development team.Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be a key player in our success and an integral part of our close-knit team.
This role is to assist the Business Development Manager with business proposals, expressions of interest and tender submissions across the multiple Garli Group business units.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage and coordinate the preparation of proposals, bids and tenders, in support of the Business Development Manager
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted on time
- Co-ordinate and manage tender administrative and reporting functions, including tender briefings and site inspections
- Draft bid analysis & risk assessments for review by the Business Development Manager
- Conduct client research and background analysis to support bid leads
- Obtain pricing from suppliers for specialist services for input into the bids
- Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure timely submissions.
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Essential Criteria
- Experience in bid / tender coordination
- Familiarity with tender processes and related documentation.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality bid submissions and participate in bid meetings.
- Draft and edit non-technical components of bids, ensuring clarity and alignment with client requirements.
- Manage and maintain the bid and proposal database, ensuring all information is current and organised.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication for each tender.
- Establish and manage Bid Action Plans to ensure timely and accurate submission of documents
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Advanced Level; Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Program and Power Point
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple submissions.
- Strong written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Manage entire tender process from identifying leads to the post-bid review and analysis
- Familiarity in the use of AI to assist in tender preparation will be an advantage
- A Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
