We currently have an opportunity for a Leisure Centre Receptionist Lifeguard to join the team at our Kiama Leisure Centre and provide quality lifeguard and reception duties.

In the role of Leisure Centre Receptionist Lifeguard, you will also:

• Ensure that the kiosk, reception, programs and various Leisure Centre activities are effectively and efficiently operating
• Provide excellent customer service to the Leisure Centre patrons
• Promote the Leisure Centre as having a friendly and healthy atmosphere.

• Casual position offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle
• Commencing hourly pay rate from $37.91 to $41.79 inclusive of 25% casual loading
  
  (dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
• Plus 12% superannuation.

If you'd like to be considered for the role and hold the following, we encourage you to apply…

• A current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• A Current First Aid Certificate
• A current Working with Children Check for employees
• A basic knowledge of accounting procedures along with cash handling experience
• Well-developed time management skills customer service and computer/keyboarding skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to work as an effective team member.

Pre-Employment Checks

This is a child-related position. You will be required to provide Council with your valid and current Working with Children Check (WWCC) number as a condition of your employment. In addition, your employment will be subject to a National Criminal Record Check to determine your suitability for employment.
