Sales Representative/Business Development Executive

We are a new Sydney-based seafood import and wholesale company, backed by over 30 years of international experience in the global seafood industry.
Our leadership team has worked across all areas of seafood — from wild-caught and aquaculture to processing, cold-chain logistics, and global distribution.
Now expanding into the Australian market, we offer a diverse range of fresh, frozen, and value-added seafood products, including species such as hoki, snapper, basa, salmon, and prawns, sourced from trusted suppliers in New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, and Norway.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Representative / Business Development Executive to help establish our presence in the Australian seafood market.
You will play a key role in introducing our brand, building strong B2B relationships, and growing sales across restaurants, hotels, distributors, and wholesalers in NSW.
- Develop new business with restaurants, wholesalers, and hotels across Sydney and NSW.
- Promote our full range of fresh, frozen, and value-added seafood products.
- Conduct in-person client visits, product tastings, and presentations.
- Build long-term customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
- Provide market feedback and help shape sales and product strategy.
- Manage quotations, orders, and follow-up to close deals.
- Report weekly sales activity and progress.
- 2–5 years of experience in seafood or foodservice sales (B2B).
- Existing relationships with restaurants, distributors, or hotel buyers preferred.
- Good knowledge of seafood products, grades, and cold-chain handling.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Full Australian driver's licence and own vehicle.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and results-driven
- Base Salary: AUD 80 – 100K + super
- Commission: 5 – 10 % on gross profit of sales
- Fuel + mobile allowance
