Role Description
This is a contract role for a Provisional Psychologist/ Psychologist with the office located in Ermington, NSW, with work from home and mobile work also available, making it a hybrid role. The Provisional Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling, and utilizing mental health techniques. Day-to-day tasks include client consultation, therapeutic sessions, report writing, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Skills in Psychology, Mental Health, and Counseling
- Experience with Psychological Assessment and report writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Registration as a psychologist/provisional psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Previous experience in working with psychosocial disabilities and involved emotional and behavioral issues desired
- Commitment to ethical and effective therapeutic practices
- An ability to build rapport with clients and have an ability to work with a range of client presentations
- Ability to drive desired
