Role Description

This is a contract role for a Provisional Psychologist/ Psychologist with the office located in Ermington, NSW, with work from home and mobile work also available, making it a hybrid role. The Provisional Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling, and utilizing mental health techniques. Day-to-day tasks include client consultation, therapeutic sessions, report writing, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Psychology, Mental Health, and Counseling
  • Experience with Psychological Assessment and report writing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
  • Registration as a psychologist/provisional psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Previous experience in working with psychosocial disabilities and involved emotional and behavioral issues desired
  • Commitment to ethical and effective therapeutic practices
  • An ability to build rapport with clients and have an ability to work with a range of client presentations
  • Ability to drive desired
