Job Description

Our client is a leading electrical contractor specialising in commercial projects. 

Based in Brisbane's western suburbs, their specialist team is passionate about delivering high quality solutions and building an industry leading reputation. 

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to guide the growing team and ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. 

Primary Objective

Our client is a leader in their field, offering opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects across the commercial sector, including commercial fitouts, warehouses, and education facilities. 

Position responsibilities will include:
    • Project management from concept to completion of projects
    • Maintain a clear and precise project plan showing key deliverables and milestones
    • Ensure that projects are proactively managed, executed according to the project plan, schedule and budget resolving any issues promptly
    • Ability to read/interpret contracts and manage project variations
    • Effective management of resources including coordination and monitoring of material and labour allowances

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Site Manager in the commercial sector

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strict adherence and enforcement of relevant project, safety and company standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi task to meet rapidly changing requirements and deadlines
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to share knowledge in a clear and concise manner
