Are you a talented Custom Cake Decorator with a passion for leadership and a flair for managing day-to-day operations? We're looking for a creative, organised, and motivated individual to join our small family-owned cupcakery and lead our bakery team

About the Role:

As the Cake Studio Manager, you will be the heart of our bakery's daily success. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and has a deep love for both cake artistry and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Custom Cake Design & Decoration: Create beautiful, unique, and high-quality custom cakes that wow our clients. Must have an eye for detail and the desire to create above standard designs.
• Team Leadership: Lead our bakery team in the day-to-day operations, setting the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
• Customer Experience: Collaborate with our quoting team & custom decorators to ensure each custom cake order delivers an exceptional customer service experience.
• Operational Oversight:
• Manage daily workflow and ensure production runs smoothly.
• Maintain high standards of product quality and consistency.
• Enforce food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure the team is working efficiently and meeting deadlines.
• Bring extensive creative knowledge to train the team
• Create new menus and flavours
• Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage supplies to keep the kitchen running seamlessly.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in custom cake decorating.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• A passion for customer service and delivering memorable experiences.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and bakery operations – Food Safety Supervisor preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a small team environment.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

• custom cake decorating: 3 years (Preferred)
