With a dedicated team of 15 professionals, we are committed to excellence in livestock management, animal welfare, and customer service.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on, bovine livestock hand to join our close-knit and dynamic team. This full-time position involves direct work with bulls and cattle across a variety of day-to-day responsibilities, including:

• Feeding animals to their individual requirements
• Assisting with semen collection and health testing
• General care, treatment, and monitoring of animals
• Maintenance of facilities, yards, and equipment
• Working collaboratively in a team to support efficient daily operations

This is a physically active role, ideal for someone who is passionate about livestock and looking to build a career in animal reproduction and genetics.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a professional, enthusiastic individual with experience handling cattle, especially bulls of various breeds and temperaments. You'll need to be safety-conscious, reliable, and have a keen eye for detail.

Essential Experience & Requirements:

• Sound knowledge of cattle handling and animal husbandry
• Confidence and competence working with bulls
• Experience in seedstock operations (highly regarded)

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Low-stress stock handling techniques
• Stock handling and halter breaking
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform maintenance tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Safe operation of quad bikes and other equipment
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Willingness to work on a rotating weekend roster
