Tourism and Events Moreton Bay (TEMB) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to positioning the City of Moreton Bay as South East Queensland's gateway to Australia. We drive tourism, grow the visitor economy, and deliver signature events that strengthen the identity and liveability of our city.

About the Role

We are seeking a Destination Marketing Specialist on a 5-month contract (September 2025 – February 2026) to deliver strategic marketing and communications outcomes that grow awareness, engagement, and visitation.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will:

  • Support the roll-out of integrated destination marketing campaigns.
  • Manage Visit Moreton Bay social media channels and digital content.
  • Assist with blogs, itineraries, EDMs and SEO updates to the Visit Moreton Bay website.
  • Coordinate visual storytelling through photography and video shoots.
  • Provide reporting, insights and analytics to track campaign effectiveness.

This role plays a key part in delivering campaigns that showcase the Moreton Bay region's coastal lifestyle, vibrant communities, and world-class events.

About You

We're looking for a results-focused marketer with:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, destination promotion or events.
  • Strong social media management skills and EDM platform knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A passion for tourism and events, with creativity and attention to detail.

A degree in marketing, communications or a related discipline is desirable, along with a current driver's licence.
