We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Mechanic to join our expanding team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented tradesperson with strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to determine the cause of issues.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
  • Replace defective components such as compressors, condensers, and motors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and refrigerant handling regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and answering client questions.

Requirements:

  • Valid trade licenses.
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration principles, tools, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in refrigeration or HVAC systems.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
