We're looking for a skilled CNC Machinist / Fitter & Turner to join our machining team, manufacturing precision components that support in-house production.
About the Role
This role is responsible for producing high-quality machined components that support our manufacturing of agricultural and specialised equipment. You'll operate and program CNC machinery, ensuring precision, consistency, and efficiency in all machining tasks. Working closely with our fabrication and assembly teams, you'll play a key part in keeping production on schedule and maintaining our reputation for quality Australian-made products.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine components to technical drawings or verbal instructions
- Operate CNC lathes, mills, and related machinery
- Program CNC machinery and maintain setup accuracy
- Ensure all work meets quality and dimensional standards
- Work to production schedules and meet deadlines
About You
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Experienced in programming and operating CNC machines, lathes, and mills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to meeting deadlines
- Hold a current driver's licence and Australian residency
Highly Regarded
- Experience with HAAS, SMEC, and/or Leadwell machinery
- Experience using Mastercam and SolidWorks
- Current forklift licence
- Current first aid certificate
