Location: Ormeau Town Centre (near Chemist Warehouse)

Hours: Tuesday to Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm & Saturdays 8:30am – 12:00pm

Creative JAZ is a Gold Coast–based creative collective transforming spaces through florals, events, and activations. As part of this growing brand, Ormeau Florist is our retail store — a vibrant, community-focused florist known for fresh designs and friendly service.

We're looking for an experienced florist and natural leader to take the reins of our retail store — someone with a passion for flowers, a flair for design, and the confidence to lead a small team while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role:

You'll oversee the daily running of our retail florist store, ensuring quality, creativity, and consistency in everything we do.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating beautiful floral arrangements and curated gift designs.

• Leading and mentoring a small team of florists.

• Providing warm, professional service to walk-in and phone customers.

• Managing stock, flower care, and store presentation.

• Preparing and fulfilling daily orders, deliveries, and special occasion work.

• Supporting larger Creative JAZ event floral projects as needed.

About You:

• Certificate III in Floristry (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a retail florist environment.

• Confident in leading a small team and maintaining high standards.

• Creative flair with an eye for design, detail, and presentation.

• Excellent customer service and time management skills.

• Reliable, organised, and self-motivated.
