Description

What you'll do:

Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and general-purpose reports for various entities and industriesConduct tax research and handle general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparationService a diverse client base, resolving issues and addressing individual client needsPerform journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients' accountsExperienced in Xero, MYOB, Excel, PowerPoint, WordFinancial modelling & forecasting experienceSupervise and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing guidance, support, and training as required Participate in professional development activities to stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Skills And Experiences

What you'll bring:

Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or FinanceCA or CPA qualifiedDemonstrated professional experience in business and tax advisory within a public practice settingProfessional, client-focused, and invested in developing into a trusted business advisorProven experience in supervising and leading a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environmentExcellent prioritisation, attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills with the ability to adapt in high-pressure situationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner
