About the Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic persons working in the construction or utilities sectors who have been exposed to Work Health and Safety as part of your working time and have a range of life skills and experiences. It will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to use their skills and aptitudes to positively influence and shape health and safety and industrial relations in South Australian workplaces.

About the Business

SafeWork SA is a business unit within Attorney-General's Department and is responsible for providing work, health and safety, public safety, and state-based industrial relations services across South Australia. As a regulator, our Investigators and Inspectors ensure work, health and safety, and public safety standards are met, and appropriate action is taken when breaches of laws are detected. We also help people better understand their work health and safety responsibilities.

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
