The role

Are you someone who enjoys being on the road, helping others, and keeping things moving behind the scenes?

We're looking for a Library Courier to undertake deliveries across our library network on the MidCoast. You'll also provide delivery support to the Manning Regional Art Gallery, The Manning Entertainment Centre, and Council offices and depots across the region delivering library materials, furniture, and equipment that keep our spaces running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who's comfortable lifting, loading, and driving — and who enjoys a job where every day is a little different. You'll be part of a helpful, customer-focused team, assisting with things like:

• Delivering new library stock and transferring items between branches
• Supporting home library deliveries and bulk loan distribution
• Delivering and removing furniture and equipment as part of scheduled asset maintenance and event planning
• Helping set up for community events and outreach activities

A Council van will be provided and based at the Forster Library for the delivery runs across the region.

Salary: Commencing hourly rate $28.80 per hour plus superannuation

Location: This is a mobile role managing deliveries at various council sites across the MidCoast region, primarily starting from our Forster Library at 4 Lake Street, Forster.

Tenure: Permanent Part-time, 28 hours per week on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
