As part of this role, you will be contributing to the successful delivery of the program by ensuring robust quality assurance across both functional and non-functional areas. You will be actively involved in all testing activities, including test planning, execution, automation, and continuous improvement of test processes and tools. The role also requires close collaboration within Agile teams, supporting integration and user acceptance testing phases, and leveraging your expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines to drive quality outcomes.
This is a fixed-term contract role until June 2027.
Your background
Senior Test Analyst with a minimum 3yrs of hands-on experience in the Payments testing. You understand various test phases and can apply QA processes while performing functional and non-functional testing to ensure the migrated product is robustly tested. The ideal candidate should be an adaptive learner, understand the existing application, payments testing landscape and start contributing positively to the project.
To be successful in this critical role you will possess:
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation using BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber), Selenium WebDriver, and Java for functional and regression testing.
- Proven experience in Payments domain or Banking Operations, with a solid understanding of transaction flows, payment gateways, and integration points.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for complex applications, ensuring high coverage and reliability.
- Experience in creating and executing test scenarios and test cases aligned with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Strong understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured, and ability to validate backend services and data flows.
- Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality delivery.
- Proficiency in using test management tools such as JIRA, QMetry, Confluence, or similar platforms for tracking and reporting.
- Ability to perform feasibility analysis for automation opportunities and contribute to the development of automation frameworks.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders during SIT and UAT phases.
- Exposure to non-functional testing (Performance, Load, Failover, DR) and understanding of infrastructure dependencies is a plus.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality solutions.
