We are an independent Optometry practice located in South-West Sydney. Our dedicated team is committed to providing high-quality eye care and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a friendly and highly motivated individual who is passionate about helping the community.
Role: Optical Assistant
Job type: Casual (starting 1-2 days per week)
Requirement: Vietnamese speaking (Chinese also preferred). Available to work 1-2 days per week, more availability during peak Christmas period. If the selected candidate demonstrates competency in the role, we can offer more days in 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming environment for patients
- Meet and greet patients
- Manage all incoming calls and receptionist duties
- Handle patient records confidentially and efficiently
- Help coordinate the Optometry clinic
- Assist customers with frame styling
- Optical dispensing
- Maintain a clean environment for customers and patients
- Work in collaboration with the lead Optometrist and take hand-overs after eye examinations

- Outstanding customer service skills
- Comfortable with working under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to follow tasks
- Understanding of basic math calculations
- Flexibility in adapting to changes
