About the role

Our client is seeking an AI / ML Engineer with at least 3 years' experience to join their team. This role is focused on understanding business requirements by collaborating with key stakeholders and designing, building and maintaining ML models and scalable AI solutions.

What you'll do

  • Design and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines across structured and unstructured data.
  • Build scalable and production-ready AI solutions for both internal and customer-facing products.
  • Develop POCs/POVs to test ideas and deliver measurable business value.
  • Monitor, validate, and recalibrate models to ensure ongoing performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering team to build robust ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI technologies, particularly in Generative AI.

What we're looking for

Our client is seeking an experienced AI / ML Engineer with a solid foundation in building AI solutions that drive real business impact.

  • At least 3 years experience in Data Science or Machine Learning.
  • University qualification in Computer Science, Data Science or related space
  • Hand on experience with LLMs, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, RAG frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Strong experience with scikit-learn, PyTorch, Pandas, and NumPy.
  • Hands-on experience using MLflow and managing the ML lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply Generative AI techniques for optimisation (hyperparameter tuning, model selection, performance evaluation, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI practices, model interpretability, and governance.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
