Senior Associate with expertise in WorkCover law
to join our supportive, high-performing practice and take the next step in their career.

The primary focus of the role is to provide expert legal advice and services in assisting and supporting clients in accessing their rights and entitlements under the law. The role provides end to end file management from commencement through litigation to completion.

Key responsibilities:

• Advise and represent clients in a variety of plaintiff litigation matters, with a particular focus on Workcover cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare for trial.
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, and develop effective case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in court and during alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive and efficient case management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Actively participate in networking and business development activities which seeks to grow the firm's client base, standing and reputation.

About you:

• We are keen to speak with people with 4 years plus of post-admission experience.
• Experience and ambition to build your career in Personal Injury law, particularly Workcover.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders effectively.
• Exceptional client focus, fostering relationships based on trust and respect.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
