About the role

Northside Fasteners is seeking a full-time Driver/Storeperson to join our team in Lawnton, QLD. In this varied and hands-on role, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and collection of goods as well as the organisation and upkeep of our warehouse facilities. What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate light and heavy vehicles to deliver and collect goods across South East Queensland. Manual drivers license necessary. HD license not required
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Receive, unpack, store and distribute stock items in the warehouse
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
  • Assist with inventory management and stock control
  • Picking and packing orders ready for delivery
  • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

  • A current manual driver's licence and experience operating light and heavy vehicles
  • Familiarity with warehouse and logistics operations
  • Experience in the Fastener Industry would be an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift items up to 25kg
  • Forklift licence or experience would be highly regarded
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in warehousing, logistics, or delivery roles
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems and order processing
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa
