Commencing Term 1 2026
We seek an experienced and passionate teacher who:
Has relevant qualifications and experience in teaching Food Technology and QCAA Hospitality Practices to Secondary students.
Has experience or the capability to teach in second learning area including Design, Construction or Digital Technology.
Has an excellent understanding of QCE syllabus requirements.
Has a passion for designing and delivering engaging lessons within a contemporary learning framework.
Is experienced and confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom.
Is a positive, energetic and collaborative contributor to a highly successful department and is committed to continuous improvement of educational outcomes.
Has strong assessment and reporting skills, including maintaining accurate records and communicating student progress to both students and families.
Has a track record of positive engagement with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
Upholds high standards of professional conduct, integrity, and teamwork.
Is committed to supporting student wellbeing.
Current Queensland College of Teacher Registration.
