Support Vehicles Australia (SVA) is a leading design and manufacturing company specializing in the creation of custom heavy equipment for key clients, primarily in the mining industry across Western Australia. We are proud to deliver high-quality, bespoke solutions and are looking for an enthusiastic SPARE PARTS SALES PERSON to join our team.

This full-time, permanent role based at our Bassendean premises, offers secure employment with a respected industry leader, known for its innovation and excellence in producing cutting-edge products. SVA is committed to fostering a positive workplace where our team members can thrive.

Your Duties will include:

  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide quality service
  • Manage sales enquiries and provide quotations for contract and adhoc sales
  • Proactively increase the sales of spare parts, follow up on quotations
  • Investigate supplier pricing to ensure competitive quotations
  • Raise purchase orders and sales orders within Pronto
  • Out of hours support for urgent customer orders. (infrequent)
  • Picking, Packing, and dispatching stock for both Spare Parts Sales and Internal use
  • Assist with warehouse duties as required
  • Regular stock cycle counts
  • Ensuring the warehouse/stores housekeeping is kept clean and safety standards are met.

Skills and experience:

  • Trade Qualification in Engineering/Automotive Industry (Fabrication/Fitting) an advantage
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence required.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully with customers, suppliers and co-workers.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task & prioritise work load.
  • The capability to work autonomously & as part of a team.
  • Good computer skills, previous experience with Pronto an advantage
  • Forklift License required
  • Experience using PRONTO is well regarded

The warehouse operational hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 5pm, standard worked hours is 45 hours per week.

Flat hourly rate will be offered in line with experience, between $38-$42 per hour (salary expectation of around $85,000-$95,000 per annum).
