Yards Person

Australian Hammer Supplies Hire specialise in providing market leading excavator hire and excavator mounted attachment hire solutions. We are conveniently based just off the M5 at Ingleburn and have a fantastic opportunity for a Yards Person to join our team.

This role would suit someone who can multi-task in a busy work environment, has an enthusiastic 'can do attitude', and is efficient with organisation, maintenance and presentation of the yard and hire equioment.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Dispatch and receive hire equipment in an efficient and organised manner.
• Ensure all equipment being dispatched is correct, cleaned, and quality checked to company standards, reporting any issues immediately.
• Report and record any damage to equipment or machinery.
• Carry out cleaning and detailing of hire equipment.
• Conduct regular stock takes of equipment and materials as required.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and well-organised yard area.
• Perform general maintenance and yard duties as required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

To qualify for this position, we require you to have:

• Current and valid driver licence and High-Risk Forklift Licence (LF).
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.
• A mechanical aptitude.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Commitment and proactive attitude towards safety.
• Certificate of Attainment, Operate Gantry Crane and Conducting Lifting Operations or previous experience using an overhead crane (Advantage).
• Be physically fit and be willing to undergo and pass without restriction, drug & alcohol testing, and Pre- Employment Medical Assessment.
• The right to live and work in Australia.
