About the Role

Join a leading renewable energy contractor as a Lifting Supervisor on a major wind farm project in Regional Queensland. You'll oversee turbine installation and lead a high-performing crew of direct labour and subcontractors. This is a long-term position with the potential for ongoing work on future projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the safe installation of wind turbines
  • Develop and manage lifting and rigging plans
  • Work closely with the Installation Site Manager and client representatives
  • Drive a strong safety culture and ensure full WHS compliance
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and community relations
  • Maintain operational oversight of the site during construction

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in crane operations or heavy lift supervision (essential)
  • Strong background in safety leadership and compliance
  • Wind farm or renewable project experience (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in dynamic site environments
  • Willingness to work on rotation in regional Queensland
