Role Description
Are you passionate about food and dedicated to delivering quality meals? Heathcote Health are looking for a skilled and motivated Chef to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, portion, and package meals according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain recipe accuracy and contribute to ongoing recipe development
- Ensure all food production areas meet strict hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food handling, preparation, and safety procedures
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality control
- Uphold food safety regulations and workplace health and safety practices
About you
- Appropriate Trade Certificate of Proficiency in cookery. Minimum Level of Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery.
- Excellent communications and people skills.
- Excellent written documentation skills.
- Ability and commitment to working as part of a team.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to use computer-based programs.
