Classification: RG6 GD

Salary per hour:$ superannuation + generous salary packaging options

Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 48 hours per fortnight

Award: Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement

Role Description

Are you passionate about food and dedicated to delivering quality meals? Heathcote Health are looking for a skilled and motivated Chef to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, portion, and package meals according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain recipe accuracy and contribute to ongoing recipe development
• Ensure all food production areas meet strict hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Supervise and train kitchen staff in food handling, preparation, and safety procedures
• Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality control
• Uphold food safety regulations and workplace health and safety practices

About you

• Appropriate Trade Certificate of Proficiency in cookery. Minimum Level of Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery.
• Excellent communications and people skills.
• Excellent written documentation skills.
• Ability and commitment to working as part of a team.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to use computer-based programs.
