Job Description

The role

A great opportunity exists for a Counsel to join our Sydney Corporate Real Estate practice on a 14-month fixed term contract. The role involves providing legal advice and support on a range of real estate transactions and matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on legal aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, development projects, platform transactions and general property advice
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate contracts
  • Liaise with clients, counterparties, and external counsel as required
  • Supervise and manage team of graduate, associate and senior associate level real estate specialists

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Australia qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate in Australia
  • Significant post-qualification experience in corporate real estate law
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work to deadlines
  • Experience in a managing and a team (law firm or in-house team preferred)
