Your New Role:

We're seeking a driven, customer-facing individual for our Mackay yard. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will work within a team to sort, grade, purchase, and process scrap metal using various equipment. IMMEDIATE START

Your responsibilities will include:

Load & unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers with forkliftOperate equipment, including Forklift and other heavy machinery (where licensed)Ensure customers receive a high level of service.Grading and sorting materials.Maintaining a safe and tidy site and associated activities to comply with environmental guidelines while demonstrating personal responsibility and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for exceeding expectations.A valid Forklift license and operational experience are essential. Excavator operation experience is desirable. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamA can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and build new skills through trainingExcellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.
