About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 1st Year Glazing Apprentice to join our team in Townsville. As an apprentice, you will learn the skills and techniques of glazing under the guidance of experienced professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a rewarding career in the glazing industry. At G&A Glass & Aluminium, you will be joining a vibrant team of 20.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation and repair of glass in residential and commercial settings.
  • Learn to measure, cut, and handle glass safely and accurately.
  • Work with a variety of glazing materials.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow health and safety procedures while working on-site.
  • Complete all required coursework and assessments for the apprenticeship.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in building and construction.
  • Minimum Year 10 completion
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry materials.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
  • No previous experience in glazing is necessary, as full training will be provided.
