Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hand Therapist located in Caroline Springs, VIC. The Hand Therapist will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions, creating and implementing rehabilitation programs, conducting pain management sessions, and assessing patients' work sites for ergonomic improvements. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on joint protection and creating custom splints and braces as needed.

Qualifications (if post-graduate Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist)

• Excellent communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Qualifications (if experienced Hand Therapist)

• Proficiency in therapeutic interventions, post-operative care, and rehabilitation programs
• Knowledge in pain management, arthritis management programs, and hydrotherapy
• Experience in conducting work site assessments and ergonomic recommendations
• Skills in creating and fitting splints, braces, and waterproof fracture casts
• Excellent communication
  and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
