About the role

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeping, Houseperson is responsible for ensuring public spaces of the hotel are kept clean and presentable whilst also attending to guests requests and assisting the room attendants. You will be required to work a rotating roster 7 days a week which may include overnight shifts when required. (Including weekend & Public Holidays)

Duties of a Houseperson Include

  • Collect linen and rubbish from corridors
  • Collect and return guest laundry/dry cleaning
  • Attend to guest requests
  • Tidy housekeeping stores
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Skills & Experience

  • A friendly, customer focused attitude
  • Reliable attendance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a good understanding of cleaning standards
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Physically able to push and pull trolleys
