Lead Educator – Busy Bees at Carrum Downs

Location: Carrum Downs, VIC

Licensed Capacity: 91 places

Hourly Rate: $33.00 – $37.54 (WT 4A.1 to 4.3)

We're currently seeking an experienced Lead Educator who is passionate about early childhood education, confident in guiding a team, and eager to contribute to a positive, nurturing environment.

About the Role

  • Lead your room to deliver high-quality, play-based programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Mentor and support educators to foster best practices and professional growth
  • Build strong partnerships with families to support children's learning and development
  • Create safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environments
  • Ensure the service meets and exceeds the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What You'll Need

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
  • Working with Children Check (Employee) – VIC requirement
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training
  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within ECEC
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
