About the Role:

As a Service Hand, you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our Service Department.

We're seeking someone who is hands on, proactive, and dependable, with a team first attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in opening and/or closing of Service Department
  • Move and park customer vehicles from the service drive-thru safely and efficiently
  • Perform pick-up and drop-off of our VIP customer vehicles as needed on daily basis
  • Pick up and/or drop off any parts required by management
  • From time to time, there will be a requirement to assist in cleaning of the Service Department (small areas)
  • Keep close attention to office supplies and reporting to department manager

Background and Experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role or automotive environment. (e.g. workshop hand, service assistant, yard hand, or vehicle detailer) is ideal, but not essential – full training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • A current manual driver's licence (essential)
  • Punctual, reliable, and physically fit
  • Have an eye for detail and cleanliness
  • Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles
  • Friendly and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A background in the automotive industry (even at an entry-level) is a plus
  • Experience handling vehicles safely, such as in valet, car yard, car wash, or mechanical settings, is advantageous.
