GitHub Australia are seeking a Senior Renewals Specialist to own, drive, and lead the renewals process in collaboration with the Account team to preserve and enhance customer contracts and relationships.

Responsibilities

Business Management

  • You will partner with Sales to setup, signature, compliance, and execution from deal approval to invoicingand closure.
  • You will keep up to date with best practices and strategies.

Negotiation

  • You will lead negotiation of complex contractual terms, with collaboration from the Account Team

Renewal Management

  • You will understand and anticipate complex and strategic business opportunities which vary based on deal lifecycle and advanced data input.
  • You will proactively handle, own, and manage objections and negotiate complex contractual amendments within empowerment

Compliance

  • You will proactively foster adherence to volume licensing, services, and other company policy for deal execution, inclusive of regulatory laws and principles in local markets, and providing guidance for consistent deal making.

Risk Assessment/Deal Evaluation

  • You will engage in strategies that support long-term protection of business and mitigating risk.

Client Engagement

  • You will orchestrate high levels of strategic conversations internally or externally.
  • You will strive to develop depth of relationships with strategic customers to understand their priorities and strategies, and structure complex deals that drive value and contribute to GitHub growth.
  • You will deepen competitive and strategic expertise via conversations with customers and community involvement. Work within (and across, as needed) their respective engineering organization to get access to correct application programming interfaces (APIs) to enable successful offer delivery.

What you need:

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in contract administration, renewals management, consulting, project management, sales, or sales operations
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years experience in contract administration, renewals management, consulting, project management, sales, or sales operations
  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Law, Communications, or related field AND 3+ years experience in contract administration, renewals management, consulting, project management, sales, or sales operations
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 9+ years experience in contract administration, renewals management, consulting, project management, sales, or sales operations
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Communications, or related field AND 7+ years experience in contract administration, renewals management, consulting, project management, sales, or sales operations
  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Law, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years experience in contract administration, renewals management, consulting, project management, sales, or sales operations
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Experience

4+ years of Software as a Service (SaaS) experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
