The Opportunity
G8 Education is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead a diverse team of 7 Area Managers responsible for over 65 early childhood education centres across our WA and SA Regions.
Research shows a child's first five years are crucial to all future learning and development. In this pivotal leadership role, you will set and execute a regional strategy that helps G8 achieve its goal of becoming families' first choice in early childhood education and care. This is a truly challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a crucial sector that positively impacts thousands of families every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 7 Area Managers
- Drive operational excellence across 70 early childhood education centres
- Manage budgets and financial performance for the portfolio
- Build collaborative relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators across all centres
- Foster a positive, engaged culture focused on delivering exceptional care
About You
We're looking for an optimistic, enthusiastic, and values-driven leader with:
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams
- Proven track record of delivering results in a multi-site environment
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex budgets
- Experience optimising team and facility resources in regulated environments
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholders
- Solutions-driven approach with ability to implement operational excellence
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in education, healthcare, or other care-based sectors
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field
- Understanding of early childhood education frameworks and regulations
