Smithfield Cattle Company is a family owned, values driven, cattle and farming operation based in Southern Queensland. We operate two 20,000 head feedlots near Proston and Goondiwindi, along with various grazing and farming operations.

Smithfield Feedlot are currently seeking a water trough cleaner.  We're looking for a reliable individual to help maintain clean and freshwater troughs in our feedlot. You will be joining a team responsible for the daily welfare and husbandry of cattle in our care.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out water trough cleaning duties and general maintenance.
• Accurate record keeping with a high importance on data integrity and quality.
• Assist in maintaining company standards of animal welfare and WHS responsibilities.
• Contributing to other areas of the feedlot as required.

Skills and Abilities:

• An understanding of animal health and welfare.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent record keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current drivers licence.
