Are you currently working in Insurance , are you already a loss adjuster, do you work for a loss adjuster as a claims technician or do you currently handle general insurance claims for an Insurer or insurance broker.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, someone who thrives on organisation, and preferably someone with a personal assistant or administrative background. A background in insurance would be a plus but is certainly not a mandatory requirement. You will also be given the opportunity to undertake formal education in the field of insurance from our associated school (LMI College). About the role
Based in our Sydney office in St Leonards, you will receive mentoring in addition to formal education (at your own pace) in the field of insurance with the intention of becoming a loss adjuster.
Being a Loss Adjuster will involve you providing loss management, risk assessment and technical advice to the general insurance and business communities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Write reports
- Identify opportunities to provide claims preparation and/or loss adjusting services and convert these prospects into customers
- Partner with clients to gain a detailed understanding of their business
- Investigate, manage and assess claims in accordance with insurance policy terms and conditions
- Report to Insurers regarding their clients policy entitlements
- Implement service agreements and obtain pre-approvals
- Operate to the higher standards of State and Federal policy
- Identify opportunities to cross sell complimentary LMI Group services
- Form and build trusted relationships within the insurance and risk management industries
